"Inspired by urban and industrial architecture, people, signage and nature, I have developed a sensitive awareness of the beauty that exists in my environments."
"Snapshot photography, contemporary graffiti, and guerrilla art, influence the way I create and present work that comments on our current social and economic condition."
Antonia loves working in clay and is especially drawn to slip casting found objects, photo transfer techniques and hand building. She is not a patient potter and tends to use these processes as they produce immediate results. Her work varies from functional to sculptural, colorful to black and white, two dimensional to three- dimensional. Antonia strives to make artful yet design minded objects that can beautify our everyday surroundings - the wall, the table, bookshelf or nightstand.
